Bio

Eli Brenner focuses on the facts and applies a logical, scientific approach to come to a solution. As a Managing Director with KSV Advisory's Corporate Finance and Valuations group, he is hard-working, skilled, and always ready to put in the extra effort or hours to ensure top-quality work. He believes responsiveness is the key to happy clients and successful projects.

Like the rest of the KSV team, he is easy to work with and approachable. He does what he says and follows through on his promises, keeping his clients informed and involved throughout the entire process so there are no surprises.

Eli is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), and has been providing financial advisory support to his clients since 2006.

He has worked on a wide range of transaction advisory mandates including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial due diligence and quality of earnings reports, capital raises, financings, and fairness opinions.

He also has significant experience in financial modelling and valuing privately held companies. He assists lawyers, business owners, private equity firms, CFOs, boards of directors, and lenders in a range of industries including retail and hospitality, manufacturing, distribution, aviation, cannabis, technology, and real estate. When working with buyers and sellers, he anticipates where there might be issues and helps them understand the risks to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

Solid and reliable, Eli is known for asking crucial questions that lead to efficient communication. He does the hard work to find important details and has the experience to provide meaningful insights. There is a ton of information when businesses trade hands and Eli makes sure to review every detail. He often sees what others don’t and is able to boil down complex information into its key components.

Eli is actively involved in professional and community organizations including serving as an executive committee member of the Association for Corporate Growth Young Professionals Toronto Chapter and sitting on several not-for-profit audit committees.

He graduated from York University’s Schulich School of Business with a Bachelor in Business Administration.
