Bio
Sydney Rogul draws on her background that combines law, business, and transactional experience to help clients and stakeholders navigate complex situations with clarity. As a Senior Manager in KSV Advisory’s restructuring practice, she works with financially distressed companies and their stakeholders in industries across Canada. Her law and business background bring a unique skill set to the KSV restructuring team.
Known for being resourceful, responsive, and a strong communicator, Sydney brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to her work. She is skilled at connecting the dots, understanding what needs to happen and how best to move matters forward. She assists stakeholders to have a clear picture of their options at every stage.
Before joining KSV, Syd worked at leading law firms in New York and Toronto. She has experience working on large M&A transactions and reorganizations, corporate due diligence, private equity transactions, regulatory documentation, and execution logistics and closing deliverables.
Syd holds a JD/MBA from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. She was a Bronze Medalist for the JD/MBA program, was named to the Dean’s List, and received the Martin Ossip Scholarship and the TorQuest Scholars Award. Outside of work, she is an avid traveller and takes on a new physical challenge every summer, including triathlons and half marathons.
