KSV Further Expands Calgary Practice

Andrew Basi joins Jason Knight to lead KSV’s Calgary practice.

On June 1, 2023, KSV Advisory Inc. announced Jason Knight as its first hire for its new office in Calgary, Alberta.  KSV is now pleased to announce that Andrew Basi has joined KSV.  Together, Jason and Andrew will lead KSV’s Calgary practice.  Andrew and Jason are joined by Ross Graham, who recently worked in the restructuring group of a Big Four firm.

KSV is one of Canada’s leading independent consulting firms focused on restructuring, valuation and financial advisory services.  With its downtown Toronto office and its new Calgary location, KSV will have a foothold in two of Canada’s most significant financial markets.

Andrew will be joining the firm as a Managing Director.  He is well respected in the Canadian restructuring industry and has been involved with cases in several industries, including extensive experience in the oil and gas sector.  Andrew was previously the Western Canada restructuring leader for a national accounting firm and was also a member of that firm’s board of directors.  Andrew has been involved in numerous high-profile insolvency mandates over his 20 plus year career.   His expertise will deepen KSV’s team of restructuring and insolvency professionals.

“KSV has the processes, people, expertise and reputation to provide nationwide high-level restructuring and insolvency services, but with an entrepreneurial and nimble approach.  KSV’s DNA is focused on achieving exemplary results on a timely and cost-efficient basis.  I am excited to join the KSV team”.

KSV is well known for offering restructuring, insolvency and valuation services from its head office located in downtown Toronto.  With several recent mandates in Western Canada, the Calgary location is expected to continue this trend.

On August 1, 2023, Ross Graham joined KSV’s restructuring practice in Calgary as a Senior Manager.  Ross is a CPA.  Prior to joining KSV, Ross worked in the Alberta restructuring practice of a Big Four firm for approximately four years.

“Having a physical presence in Alberta will establish a greater footprint for our practice.  We saw this as a logical next step to continue our growth.  Jason, Andrew and Ross bring a work ethic and a results-oriented mindset that are consistent with ours.  We are excited about what lies ahead,” said Bobby Kofman, President of KSV.
