Mendocino Clothing Company Ltd. (“Mendocino”) is a retailer of women’s fashion apparel that operated from 25 store locations and employed over 350 individuals.
We were appointed as Proposal Trustee in Mendocino’s proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. We worked with management to restructure its business around an e-commerce model. Prior to the proceedings, we acted as financial advisor to Mendocino with a view to considering its restructuring options and developing a restructuring plan.
