Grafikom offered commercial printing, specialty packaging, inventory management and fulfillment services. It serviced customers in a broad range of industries, including financial, technology, automotive, advertising and entertainment. Grafikom operated a network of eight leased facilities across Canada and employed over 550 individuals. It also owned an industrial building in Calgary.
Due to a liquidity crisis and structural issues in the business, Grafikom’s lender syndicate owed over $50 million brought an application for the Court to appoint KSV as Receiver. In that capacity we carried out an expedited sale process and completed several transactions, including two transactions with strategic parties. We also completed a transaction for Grafikom’s owned real estate in Calgary, which was subject to environmental issues.
