In her role as a Senior Associate, Emily inspects businesses from every angle to get a complete picture of their operations. Emily takes every piece of information and puts it all together to paint a picture that tells the full story of a distressed business. Her interest in both the people and the numbers allows her to fully understand each situation so she can create the best plan for moving forward.

Emily has worked as the junior lead on all types of files including receiverships, bankruptcies, and mandates under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA).

She has experience managing files from beginning to end with a particular interest in multi-year projects. She has broad experience in the manufacturing and automotive industries and an interest in retail.

Prior to joining KSV, Emily worked as an analyst in financial advisory at Deloitte, specializing in insolvency and restructuring mandates and providing support to lending institutions, corporate clients, companies in financial distress, and legal counsel.

Emily is a graduate of the Ivey Business School at Western University and has also studied at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, through an International Exchange Program. With her strong academic background and professional experience, she brings unique creative energy to her job. Her skill with numbers and financial analysis, combined with a genuine interest in people, allow her to find the best solutions for her clients.
