Pliant Corporation is a manufacturer of plastic shrink wrap used in packaging. At the time of its filing, Pliant operated more than 20 manufacturing and research and development facilities and employed 2,900 individuals.
We were appointed under Part IV of the CCAA as the Information Officer in both of Pliant’s restructuring proceedings, with the main proceedings being filed under Chapter 11 in the US. In both of its restructuring proceedings, Pliant successfully implemented plans of reorganization.
